Monique & Bogar’s Kellogg House Wedding was such a sweet day. Just as sweet as this they are as a couple. Monique and Bogar have the most carefree and light spirited attitude. They are such a “go with the flow” kind of couple and completely trusted me through the planning process of their wedding planning and most especially their wedding day.
I absolutely loved how their wedding day came together by those closest to them. Monique’s mom and aunt helped set up most of the wedding. Monique’s make up was done by her sister (she’s an amazing MUA – check her out @cristinabraun_mua). Bogar’s child hood friend married them and their brothers and sisters stood next to them as they got married. Everything was very personal and intimate. It felt so special to be part of such an intimate wedding where everyone who was involved was friends and family… therefor I became Monique and Bogar’s new friend 😉 – DUH!
Also, who knew that Cal Poly Pomona had an actual wedding venue hidden in their little gem of a campus!? I sure didn’t. It was my first time shooting at The Kellogg House at Cal Poly Pomona. It’s a pretty venue full of a lot of history. We were confined to only a couple of spots due to the set up on that particular day but we totally made it work and had a blast doing it! It also helps that we had such a sweet and easy going couple that totally understood this.
Monique and Bogar, thank you SO much for choosing me to part of your sweet and special day full of love and family. I felt honored that you brought in into your inner wedding circle <3. I hope Portland is treating you well and that you are having a blast – y’all deserve it!
XO,
Nataly
