Anthony and Marisol’s wedding day was one for the books. There was rain, a lot of travel and a whole lot of love. St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Pasadena, CA is where Anthony and Marisol were married and let me tell you… it’s a gorgeous church! St. Andrew’s is full of so much history. The coordinator informed us that many of the pillars and paintings that were in the church were actually brought from Rome near the Vatican. I thought that was pretty cool!
The entire month of September was full of sunny days with bright blue skies for the exception of two days. One of which was their wedding day. It actually rained over us as we took their family and bridal party portraits! I have to give a huge shout out to their families though, everyone was on top of their game and very helpful! Even though it rained on us throughout the wedding day, Marisol and Anthony still had a gorgeous day. A little rain didn’t stop us from having fun and grabbing some gorgeous portraits!
Anthony and Marisol have been a lot of fun for me to get to know personally. At our engagement session we started to chat about our friends and family and through that we realized that both Marisol’s family and mine are from the same small town of Mexico. It turned out that she had an uncle that dated my aunt when they were younger! Totally crazy how small our world really is right? Such a great example as to why I take the time to really get to know my couples. You just never know what all you can have in common!
Marisol & Anthony, thank you SO much for allowing me to be part of your gorgeous wedding day and your beautiful story. I have loved every minute of getting to know you guys! I hope you are having the time of your life in Barcelona… I’m just slightly jelouse ;)!
XO,
Nataly
